SACI® 6400

Description

SACI® 6400 is a waterborne, high solids, formulating concentrate using an innovative amine free emulsifier system. When used in conjunction with waterborne resins, SACI® 6400 imparts significantly improved corrosion resistance without introducing toxic or hazardous components. SACI® 6400 easily incorporated into waterborne resins due to its low viscosity. SACI® 6400 is designed to protect both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. This product is especially useful where the use of solvents is undesirable or where solvent emissions are restricted.

SACI® 6400 is nominally 48% solids with a viscosity of 5,000 to 12,000 cps. Most formulations based on SACI® 6400 will require dilution with water or waterborne resins to achieve the desired film and application properties. SACI® 6400 is a stable anionic emulsion that can be formulated with a wide variety of latexes and resins commonly used in waterborne coatings. Recommended resins and starter formulation can be found on our Product Information Sheet.
