Nox-Rust® 110 DLS

  • Wax-based, solvent type, cold applied, corrosion preventative
  • Designed for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals
  • Works for metals exposed to indoor or outdoor storage conditions

Deposits a transparent, firm, wax-like film that is readily removable by conventionally used solvents or degreasing methods. Formulated to fulfill the requirements of MIL-PRF-16173E, Class I, Grade #4 Specification.


Nox-Rust® 501

  • Designed for the protection of metals when exposed to outdoor weather conditions
  • Can be used for general-purpose preservation
  • Works well in domestic and overseas shipment where a "dry to touch" film is required.

Can be applied by dipping, spraying, or brushing. Film is black and slightly tacky. Approved to MIL-PRF-16173E Grade 1, Class II.


Nox-Rust® 501-LS

  • Designed for the protection of metals when exposed to outdoor weather conditions
  • Also for general purpose preservation, indoor or outdoor, with or without cover
  • Ideal for domestic and overseas shipment where a “dry to touch” film is required.

A solvent type, cold application rust preventive hard film that meets the requirements of MIL-PRF-16173E, Grade I, Class I.


Nox-Rust® 502 DHS

  • A petroleum based, solvent type, cold applied rust preventive
  • Deposits a grease-like film which gives versatility in application

Recommended for extended undercover protection of internal or external surfaces of machinery and/or materials with or without use of supplementary barrier materials. It is also applicable for outdoor protection for limited periods, where metal temperatures do not reach levels that produce prohibitive flow of the corrosion preventive film. Formulated to fulfill the requirements of MIL-PRF-16173E Grade #2 Class II Specification.


Nox-Rust® 502 DLS

  • A petroleum based, solvent type, cold applied rust preventive
  • Deposits a grease like film which gives versatility in application.

Recommended for extended undercover protection of internal or external surfaces of machinery and/or materials with or without use of supplementary barrier materials. Nox-Rust® 503 DHS

  • For use where water or saline solution must be displaced from corrodible surfaces and the corrosion prevented or arrested.
  • Designed for protection of interior surfaces of machinery, instruments or material under cover for limited periods.

Used for protection of critical bare steel or phosphated surfaces for extended storage periods when packaged with moisture barrier materials. Approved to MIL-PRF-16173E Grade 3, Class II.


Nox-Rust® 503 DLS

Nox-Rust® 507

  • Offers unusually good protection to both ferrous and non-ferrous metals
  • Ideal for high humidity and salt air conditions

A grease-type, hot dip (MIL-C-11796A, Class I & IA) type product. Provides a thin, firm, wax-like film that will not oxidize.


Nox-Rust® 509

  • A soft, lubricating grease
  • Good for the protection of ball and roller bearings.
  • Coating is non-hardening and gives excellent protection under extreme conditions

May be used as a pressure-gun lubricant for bearings of machines in use as well as in storage. Serves equally well as a rust preventive lubricant for axles, differentials, transmission shackle bolts and other similar parts. Meets requirements for MIL-C-11796B, CLASS III, TYPE PRODUCT.


Nox-Rust® VCI 105

  • A volatile corrosion inhibiting lubricating oil
  • Designed for use in the preservation of ferrous metal parts in enclosed systems
  • Makes possible long term protection of rust within "closed" systems or voids

For use on the preservation of enclosed systems where the volatile components will provide protection above the oil level. It provides an effective contact preservative oil film. Typical examples of "closed" systems where product protects metal from damaging rust include: Fuel Tanks, Gear Housings, Storage Tanks, Clutch Compartments, Cylinders, Crankcases, Transmissions, Hydraulic and Coolant Circulating Systems, and Metal Containers.


Nox-Rust® X-110

  • A wax based, solvent type, cold applied, corrosion preventative
  • Designed for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals
  • Ideal for metals exposed to indoor or outdoor storage conditions

Deposits a transparent, firm, wax-like film that is readily removable by conventionally used solvents or degreasing methods. Formulated to fulfill the requirements of MIL-PRF-16173-E, Class I, Grade #4 Specification.


Nox-Rust® X-128

  • A thixotropic wax-based rustproofing compound
  • Designed to provide a long-term protective film
  • For use on automotive primed or unprimed steel

This rustproofing compound will dry to a black colored, wax-like film that will repel water, self-heal, and remain flexible at low temperatures. Will pass all of the requirements of Military Specifications AA-59295, Mil-C-62218-A and Mil-C-0083933. These specifications are titled: Corrosion Preventive Compound for New and Fielded Motor Vehicles and Trailers.


Nox-Rust® X-128 CLEAR

  • A thixotropic wax-based rustproofing compound
  • Designed to provide a long-term protective film
  • For use on automotive primed or unprimed steel.

Dries to a tan colored, wax-like film that will repel water, self-heal, and remain flexible at low temperatures. Will pass all of the requirements of Military Specifications MIL-C-62218-A and MIL-C-0083933. [Titled: Corrosion Preventive Compound for New and Fielded Motor Vehicles and Trailers]. Will also pass all the requirements of SAEJ 1804 [Titled Corrosion Preventive Compound, Topside Vehicle Corrosion Protection].


Nox-Rust® X-163 Clear

  • A calcium sulfonate wax-base corrosion preventive
  • Designed to provide a long-term corrosion resistance
  • For use in automotive underbody and inner cavity sections

Meets all requirements for Military Specification MIL-C-0083933A (MR), and MIL-C-62218 Type I Corrosion Preventative Compound for Motor Vehicles. Also meets the material requirements specified in the United States Post Office Maintenance Bulletin POD-V-82-80.


Tectyl® 2423 Haps Free Black

  • A low VOC, high solids, emulsion corrosion preventive coating
  • Provides excellent protection to ferrous and non-ferrous metals
  • Works with a single application.

The cured film is hard and flexible. Suitable for intermodal chassis/containers, rail cars, road, and construction equipment.


Tectyl® 275

  • A water displacing, solvent cutback corrosion preventive compound
  • Provides protection for industrial parts and transportation components
  • Also works as a lubricant and penetrant

The film is an ultralight, transparent oil that has fingerprint suppressor and removal capabilities. Approved under Military Specification MIL-C-15074E, QPL Reference Number AR-20-85.


Tectyl® 435D

  • A hot application corrosion preventive compound
  • Provides an effective barrier against atmospheric corrosion

The film is firm, tan in color, and opaque. Approved under Military Specification MIL-C-11796C, Classes 1 and 1A, QPL Reference Numbers M-6179 and M-6172.


Tectyl® 437D

  • A hot application corrosion preventive compound
  • Provides an effective barrier against atmospheric corrosion

The film is semi-firm, tan in color, and opaque. Covered under Military Specification MIL-C-11796C, Class 3, QPL Reference Number M-6154.


Tectyl® 502C, Class I

  • A solvent cutback, corrosion preventive compound
  • Designed to protect ferrous and non-ferrous parts for indoor or covered storage and during shipment.
  • The cured film is compatible with a variety of oils and greases

Semi-firm film that is amber and translucent. Approved under Military Specifications MIL-PRF-16173E, Grade 2, for Class I, and MIL-P-116J, Type P-2.


Tectyl® 502C, Class II

  • A solvent cutback, corrosion preventive compound
  • Designed to protect ferrous and non-ferrous parts for indoor or covered storage and during shipment
  • Compatible with a variety of oils and greases

The semi-firm film is amber and translucent. Approved under Military Specifications MIL-PRF-16173E, Grade 2, for Class II, and MIL-P-116J, Type P-2.


Tectyl® 511M, Class I

  • A solvent cutback, water displacing corrosion preventive compound
  • Designed to protect ferrous and non-ferrous industrial parts and transportation components
  • Ideal for covered shipment and inside storage

The semi-firm film is oily, light amber, and translucent. Approved under Military Specifications MIL-PRF-16173E, Grade 5, for Class I; MIL-C-23411A, Type II; and MIL-P-116J, Type P-21.


Tectyl® 511M, Class II

  • A solvent cutback, water displacing corrosion preventive compound
  • Designed to protect ferrous and non-ferrous industrial parts and transportation components
  • Ideal for covered shipment and inside storage

The semi-firm film is oily, light amber, and translucent. Approved under Military Specifications MIL-PRF-16173E, Grade 5, for Class II; MIL-C-23411A, Type II; and MIL-P-116J, Type P-21.


Tectyl® 517

  • Designed for rustproofing transportation equipment
  • Provides galvanic corrosion protection
  • Can be applied on battery terminals for insulating purposes
  • Dry film is black and semi-firm

A solvent-borne, thixotropic corrosion preventive compound designed for rustproofing transportation equipment. Tectyl® 517 is approved under military specifications MIL-C-0083933A and under MIL-C-62218A, Types I and II, QPL Reference Numbers AR-18-85 and 2-7515.


Tectyl® 518

  • Designed for rustproofing transportation equipment
  • Provides galvanic corrosion protection
  • Can be applied on battery terminals for insulating purposes
  • Dry film is translucent and semi-firm

A solvent-borne, thixotropic, corrosion preventive compound designed for rustproofing transportation equipment. Tectyl® 518 is approved under Military Specification MIL-C-62218, Type I, QPL Reference Number AR-18-85.


Tectyl® 802A

  • A lubricating oil and corrosion preventive compound
  • Designed to protect transportation equipment assemblies

Approved under Military Specifications MIL-L-3150E (superseded by MI-PRF-3150D), QPL Reference Number L-6581.


Tectyl® 846 Class I

  • A solvent cutback, water displacing corrosion preventive compound
  • The dry film is firm, amber, transparent, and non-tacky.
  • Designed for long term protection of metal parts in outdoor uncovered conditions.

Approved under Military Specifications MIL-PRF-16173E, Grade 4, for Class I, and MIL-P-116J, Type P-19.


Tectyl® 859B

  • A contact and volatile corrosion inhibiting compound
  • Designed as a preservative/additive for enclosed systems

Ideal for situations where volatile components provide protection above the oil level. Can be used as a contact preservative. Conforms to Military Specification MIL-PRF-46002C, Grade 1.


Tectyl® 891D Class I

  • A solvent cutback, firm film, black asphaltic corrosion preventive compound
  • Provides long-term protection for metallic surfaces
  • Works in indoor or outdoor exposure and during international shipments.

Approved under Military Specifications MIL-PRF-16173E, Grade 1, for Class I, and MIL-P-116J, Type P-1.


Tectyl® 891D Class II

  • A solvent cutback, firm film, black asphaltic corrosion preventive compound
  • Provides long-term protection for metallic surfaces

Tectyl® 894 Class I

Tectyl® 900

  • A water displacing, low viscosity lubricating oil and corrosion preventive compound
  • Provides protection to ferrous and non-ferrous industrial parts during storage and covered transit.

Approved to MIL-PRF-32033, Qualification number LP-7062.


Tectyl® 910E2

  • An internal combustion engine oil and corrosion preventive
  • Designed for all new and rebuilt engines
  • Film is oily and translucent

As a preservative oil, protects engine parts during covered shipment and indoor storage. Approved under Military Specification MIL-PRF-21260E, Grade 10W, QPL Reference Number MP-434.


Tectyl® 915W40E2

  • An internal combustion engine oil and corrosion preventive
  • Designed for all new and rebuilt engines
  • Film is oily and translucent

As a preservative oil, protects engine parts during covered shipment and indoor storage. Approved under Military Specification MIL-L-21260E, Grade 15W40, QPL Reference Number MP-432.


Tectyl® 930E2

  • An internal combustion engine oil and corrosion preventive
  • Designed for all new and rebuilt engines
  • Film is oily and translucent

As a preservative oil, protects engine parts during covered shipment and indoor storage. Approved under Military Specification MIL-PRF-21260E, Grade 30, and has QPL Reference Number MP-433.
